BRANDENGURG-BRIEST SOLAR FARM, GERMANY

Since 2011, the former military airport Briest, with a capacity of 91 MWp, belongs amongst the world's largest power plants for solar power. Over an area that is as large as 280 football fields, the solar power plant generates electricity for more than 22,000 households and prevents 50,000 tons of CO₂ emissions per year. All three sections were completed in a record time of just twelve weeks.

STOWBRIDGE SOLAR FARM, UNITED KINGDOM

The Stowbridge Solar Farm, just north of Cambridge, England, was built at the beginning of 2014 using Q CELLS Q.PRO-G3 solar modules. The solar power plant has a capacity of 24.3 MWp and due to our advanced power plant design using standard blocks it could be completed within a few weeks.

CANHA SOLAR FARM, PORTUGAL

With approximately 51,000 Q.PRO-G3 250-265 type Q CELLS modules, the solar farm in Canha, Portugal has an output of 13.3 MWp, and therefore supplies clean energy to around 5,475 households in the region with an average consumption of 4,000 kWh each per year. The construction time for this project, where the operation and maintenance has been taken over by Hanwha Q CELLS specialists under an O & M contract, amounted to a mere 5 weeks.

It was connected to the grid in May 2014.

TOWER HILL FARM, UNITED KINGDOM

The Tower Hill power plant, which has a capacity of 8.1 MWp, was built in the first quarter of 2015. The complete construction time was only 8 weeks. System specialists from Hanwha Q CELLS act as the prime contractor for the operation and maintenance of the plant at the Tower Hill project. All 30,646 Q CELLS Q.PRO-G3 modules, as well as the entire design, planning and construction work was provided by Hanwha Q CELLS.

FENLAND FARM, UNITED KINGDOM

The Fenland Farm solar power plant was completed by the system specialists of Hanwha Q CELLS in the first quarter of 2015. This is a specially tailored solar power plant, which consists of 79,074 Q CELLS Q.PRO-G3 solar modules with a capacity of 20.4 MWp. The total construction time was just 12 weeks. All modules, as well as the entire design, planning and construction work was provided by Hanwha Q CELLS. Hanwha Q CELLS is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Fenland Farm solar power plant.
