Mr. Seong-woo Nam

Mr. Seong-woo Nam is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hanwha Q CELLS.

He brings rich experience and expertise in a broad range of management disciplines and has a strong track record of achievement.

Prior to joining Hanwha Q CELLS, Mr. Nam spent 30 years with Samsung Electronics, most recently as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Samsung's IT Solutions Business; this includes its PC and Printer Business with 13,000 employees and revenues approaching $9 billion during his tenure.

While under Mr. Nam's direction for four years the IT Solutions Business experienced a more than three-fold increase in revenues, sales into 90 new countries, expansion of manufacturing scale, and a more than 300% gain in market share.

Other responsibilities while at Samsung included leadership of the Business Innovation team for eight years where under his leadership the company launched global supply chain management, achieved cost reduction, and introduced process efficiencies across all global business units.

Mr. Nam received his Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations in 1983 from Sogang University, Korea.

Mr. Jay Seo

Mr. Jay Seo is the Chief Financial Officer for Hanwha Q CELLS.

He is also a member of the company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Seo joined the company from Azdel Inc., an automotive thermoplastic material manufacturer based in Virginia, where he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

In his three and a half years at the company, he rebuilt the company's cash and debt management systems and processes, implemented a new ERP system, managed commercial banking relationships, raised capital, and helped the company expand market share in a competitive market with rising raw material prices.

He also played an important role in the acquisition and post-acquisition integration of Azdel Inc. by Hanwha Corporation.

Prior to joining Azdel, Mr. Seo held a variety of accounting, finance, and sales-related roles at Hanwha Resorts Corporation and Hanwha Chemical Corporation over a twelve year period.

Mr. Seo earned an M.B.A. degree from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in finance and accounting from Seoul National University.

Mr. Moon Seong Choi

Mr. Moon Seong Choi is VP of Corporate Planning at Hanwha Q CELLS with responsibility for corporate level strategy, business planning and human resources.
He joined Hanwha Group in 1996 and held positions in Hanwha Chemical Corp.’s Finance and Accounting teams and Hanwha Group’s Planning & Management Headquarters, where he played a critical role in developing mid- to long-term strategies for the Group. Mr. Choi was also instrumental in numerous high-profile M&A deals and brings to the board his experiences as the Head of Planning for Hanwha Chemical’s polysilicon business and the Head of Q CELLS’ Southeast Asia sales.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Business from Korea University, Seoul, Korea in 1993 and his MBA at Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea in 2017.


Mr. Joo Yoon

Mr. Joo Yoon is currently Head of Global Sales Planning as well as Product Management & Marketing at Hanwha Q CELLS.
He joined Hanwha Group in 1996 and held positions at the EVA and Overseas Business Teams at the former Hanwha L&C Corporation, where he took part in overseas sales of PV components and electronic materials. He also led the Business Innovation Team as Head of the Business Innovation Task Force at Hanwha L&C, after which he held positions as the Head of PV System Sales at Hanwha Q CELLS Japan Co., Ltd. for four years. Mr. Yoon brings a diverse skillset to the Company, which encompasses the fields of engineering, product management, marketing/sales, and corporate innovation.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Korea in 1996.


Mr. Steve Kim

Mr. Steve Kim is vice president of the Defense Acquisition Program Institute, a non-profit organization licensed by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), where Mr. Kim served as Director General of Cost Accounting and Verification Group from August 2011 to August 2013.

He also serves as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the Korea Consumer Agency, a public institution established under the Fair Trade Commission.

From 1988 to 2011, Mr. Kim held several positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, including audit partner, where he led audit services to a broad range of Korean and multinational companies in a variety of industries.

Mr. Kim is a certified public accountant in Korea having spent over 30 years holding accounting and audit related positions.

He also received his CPA from the California State Board of Accountancy.

He received both his BA and MBA degrees from Seoul National University in Korea.

Mr. Richard Chun

Mr. Richard Chun has been Managing Partner of Saesidae Accounting Corporation, which he joined in April 2014.

He is also an audit committee member of Kangwon Land Inc. and part-time auditor of Unicef Korea. From 1994 to 2014, he held several positions, including audit partner and dean of Deloitte Academy.

Mr. Chun is a certified public accountant in Korea and spent over 30 years holding audit related positions, including Audit Partner at Anjin Accounting Corp., a member firm of Deloitte.

He holds the KICPA Registration and completed the AICPA examination.

He completed his BA and MBA degrees from Yon Sei University in Korea.

Mr. Young Soon Kim

Mr. Young Soon Kim has been Technology Advisor at RealGain Company, which he founded in 2015. 
He has amassed more than adequate experience along the production line, having held several crucial roles in the fields of R&D and manufacturing. For 40 years, he has held numerous positions, which include Business Director of the PE Division, Head of R&D, and General Plant Managing Director at Hanwha Chemical Corporation, as well as Head of Business Development and Technology at Yeochun NCC Co., Ltd. and Technology Advisor at ISU Chemical Co., Ltd.
He completed his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea and his Masters of Industrial Engineering from Dow International Vocational School, Texas, United States.
